Julian Trevelyan at Pallant House Gallery

The lovely people at the Pallant House Gallery are showcasing the prints (and paintings) of British artist Julian Trevelyan in a new exhibition this Autumn/Winter. Running from 6 October 2018 to 10 February 2019, ‘Julian Trevelyan: The Artist and His World’ includes over 40 of his original prints, many of which are playful coloured etchings (as shown here).
Trevelyan studied printmaking under Stanley William Hayter, at his legendary Paris studio Atelier 17, where he rubbed shoulders with Giacometti, André Masson and Max Ernst amongst others and developed a unique Surrealist etching practice.
