For all US orders
US customers should be aware that with the end of the De Minimis rule on 29th August 2025 there may be delays on UK orders sent to the USA. There may also be customs emails sent out asking for payment to release parcels.
We have been advised that magazines should be exempt from these charges (as they were never under De Minimis in the first place) according to 50 USC 1702(b), which exempts from duty the following:
information or informational materials, including but not limited to, publications, films, posters, phonograph records, photographs, microfilms, microfiche, tapes, compact disks, CD ROMs, artworks, and news wire feeds.
However as we are in unchartered territory, this level of detail and data checking might not be in practice in the coming weeks in US customs.
Please contact us if you are expecting a delivery and you get an email like this. We’re hoping we can straighten it out for you, but it bears repeating that we are in unchartered territory and no-one really knows how tarifs will work or pan out. 27/08/25
